Very soon the final finished concept for the new feature Welcome To The Jungle goes live! You cartoon fans have seen quite a bit of the new feature spattered amongst the original Jungle strips as the last few remaining strips are coming to a close. The feature is very unlike the strips you have seen though. FEED THE FRENZY!  What’s in store for those interested?  An ongoing main cast of characters, Check. (Did you see it?) I can, it’s there. A quick rundown to start. Readers have already met at least 4 previous characters, Check. WHAT? Yes you have seen at least four of the main characters in the initial concept strips. All new layout, Check. You have also seen the layout format before, hmmm I wonder where? (I hope your readers enjoyed the Epic Pinkerton Adventure “Hold That Zombie” Wit, thanks for the exposure friend) Hopefully you will find the new feature amusing and spread the good word about the funnies. Amazing Crossover Events, Maybe let’s see the finished product first.

Witness the specatcle of Life in the not so Fast Lane.

Here’s a look at the way the the comic strips are ending format wise, the new finished concept is near cartoon fans. While developing the strip in 2007 right from the word go an Immediate name change due to a syndication problem. But while producing and developing the initial strips a final finished concept emerged and was also being produced alongside, borrowing and incorporating features from the original strips. I’m so anticipating letting you readers of the funnies see the new strip. When would you like to see it Roll Out? See you next week, Tuesday.

Get Ready to mark your calendars cartoon fans. So you can bid on original cartoon art, and doodles from celebrities around the globe. Seriously cool! Thursday, May 13, 2010.

As part of NF Awareness month, celebrity doodles are available for auction on eBay during May. These doodles have a very important aim: the funds they raise will benefit NF, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing support to individuals and families affected by neurofibromatosis (NF).

Neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder that affects one in every 2,500 births. NF is more common than Cystic Fibrosis, Muscular Dystrophy and Huntington’s Disease combined. Funds raised from the Doodle Day auction will go to support education, advocacy, coalitions, and research for treatments and a cure.

Through National Doodle Day  celebrities continue to raise money in order to provide advice, information and support services to people with epilepsy or with neurofibromatosis and to raise awareness of these conditions so that people affected no longer face the discrimination and stigma that can affect their every day lives. So get ready to bid on some original artwork for a fantastic cause. Here’s what I scribbled out on my cards for NF.

Woo Hoo! Here we go cartoon fans. I personally feel as this is the first true post of the year. The cartoon mayhem continues.

2009 didn’t fare well for cartoonists. Even here at the studios. A newspaper I was cartooning for The Nashville Free Press ceased operations shutting down another publications printed pages. We are working on picking up more media sources though fear not cartoon fans, We love the feel of the printed funny pages just as much as you.

I’m still all hyped up for 2010. You’ll notice the new links on the pages that have all been streamlined and updated. All the studio resources have been updated. The new links to note
