Whew, we made it to Friday! WOO HOO! Here’s some cool studio facts. The large Sunday formatted strips usually have a throwaway panel you don’t get to see. Maybe we’ll do something with those later? Don’t forget starting this Sunday, 9-5-2010 a return of sorts to the weekend funnies! The TOON TALES SPINNER RACK! See everybody this Sunday.

Comic Book artwork that I have done that some folks might not even know about. Check back in every Sunday for the next few months to look at other projects! The feature is called The Toon Tales Spinner Rack, I think you comic art form followers will dig this material.

Woo Hoo dedicated cartoon readers! Welcome To The Jungle© unveils during the remainder of this week and continues next week! Are you ready friends to Witness the specatcle of Life in the not so Fast Lane.

Welcome To The Jungle© will run right here at TOONED IN! The current tentative schedule will be Monday/Wednesday/Friday 

Psssst, The Sunday Funnies this weekend features a special Welcome To The Jungle© one shot. This strip actually has nothing to do with the final finished concept of the new feature. It was an exercise in fun, plus gives us a look in the studio how the strips will look on the digital screens.  

See you next week cartoon fans. Monday morning starts your cure for the Jungle Fever! In the final finished format for consumption by the masses. Tell your family and friends. Spread the laughter and help get the word out about the new feature!

Water / Pepsi, Check. The assorted pencils, inks, brushes and other basic drawing supplies, Check.   Quiet in the studio. OOOOoooooOOOOOooooo, SPOOKY! (You hear noises when your alone?) Fix ambient noise, The Incredibles, Check.

We are still running Tues. / Thurs. / Sun. here at TOONED IN. I thought off days I’d throw something cartoon related out though to you cartoon fans. Thursday more editorial nonsense.

I should get some news from The National Free Press posted, as I am a little behind at getting that out to you dedicated readers. First off. We have a winner for the set of editorial cartoon mugs! Congratulations to Joe T. Joe will be drinking his morning brew with editoons emblazoned on them courtesy of my cartoon compadre Joel Barbee and The National Free Press. The NFP will have more contests just stay tooned!

The NFP has a new addition to the cartoonists bullpen.  The NFP is proud to announce the arrival of our latest Cartoonist Jennett Meriden Russell and her humourous collection of outstanding cartoons!

Give Jennett a warm welcome! She is an awesome accomplished cartoonist. I cannot say it enough. Her material is Top Notch Funny! Should I just lay my pencils down now? Ha,ha,ha.

As part of NF Awareness month, celebrity doodles are available for auction on eBay during May. These doodles have a very important aim: the funds they raise will benefit NF, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing support to individuals and families affected by neurofibromatosis (NF).

Neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder that affects one in every 2,500 births. NF is more common than Cystic Fibrosis, Muscular Dystrophy and Huntington’s Disease combined. Funds raised from the Doodle Day auction will go to support education, advocacy, coalitions, and research for treatments and a cure.

Through National Doodle Day  celebrities continue to raise money in order to provide advice, information and support services to people with epilepsy or with neurofibromatosis and to raise awareness of these conditions so that people affected no longer face the discrimination and stigma that can affect their every day lives. So get ready to bid on some original artwork for a fantastic cause. Here’s what I scribbled out on my cards for NF.

Woo Hoo! Here we go cartoon fans. I personally feel as this is the first true post of the year. The cartoon mayhem continues.

2009 didn’t fare well for cartoonists. Even here at the studios. A newspaper I was cartooning for The Nashville Free Press ceased operations shutting down another publications printed pages. We are working on picking up more media sources though fear not cartoon fans, We love the feel of the printed funny pages just as much as you.

I’m still all hyped up for 2010. You’ll notice the new links on the pages that have all been streamlined and updated. All the studio resources have been updated. The new links to note
