Continuing on with the nonsense from last week. Does anyone actually listen to what is going on? I hope nobody gets confused by slick sounding speeches. More of the same just packaged differently. As part of NF Awareness month, celebrity doodles are available for auction on eBay during May. These doodles have a very important aim: the funds they raise will benefit NF, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing support to individuals and families affected by neurofibromatosis (NF).

Neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder that affects one in every 2,500 births. NF is more common than Cystic Fibrosis, Muscular Dystrophy and Huntington’s Disease combined. Funds raised from the Doodle Day auction will go to support education, advocacy, coalitions, and research for treatments and a cure.

Through National Doodle Day  celebrities continue to raise money in order to provide advice, information and support services to people with epilepsy or with neurofibromatosis and to raise awareness of these conditions so that people affected no longer face the discrimination and stigma that can affect their every day lives. So get ready to bid on some original artwork for a fantastic cause. Here’s what I scribbled out on my cards for NF.

So this guy is still on the run, and still hasn’t been found? Can anybody tell me seriously that we can’t locate some guy that lives in a cave. I am baffled by the whole situation. Apparently this guy is like Houdini, POOF! Vanished into thin air. Ha,ha,ha. I’m not buying the story we cannot locate this character.

Here’s a glance at the second 2010 Doodle Day sketch card I scribbled on. I hope you dedicated cartoon fans get a chance to bid on the original artwork. I enjoyed taking a break from the regular studio drawing board work, to scratch some lines on the sketch cards. Looking forward to doing more of them in the following years. C’mon cartoon fans get ready to bid. I’m ahead of the curve with early offerings, and can’t wait to see the upcoming doodles from others as they are added to the celebrity gallery.

U.S.A. National Doodle Day Celebrity Galleries

This year, the U.S.A. National Doodle Day’s celebrity doodle auction will take place on Thursday, May 13, 2010. You can bid for your favourite doodles as well as helping out raise vital funds to support people living with epilepsy and neurofibromatosis. All of our celebrity doodles will be auctioned off on eBay from Thursday, 13 May, 2010. You can sign up to get an email when the launch for bidding begins!
